Located at the southern curvy WET poolside of the chic W in Seminyak, WooBar is the retreat’s most inviting outlet. It overlooks the beach, providing you the best of pool and sea views from where you can lounge on the sundecks or escape to the edge for colourful sexy cocktails mixed behind a curvaceous ‘reef’ bar. After sunset you’ll be welcomed by stunning reflections on the pool’s surface, as the al fresco bar lights up with W’s distinctive purple and fuchsia.
The bar’s unconventional design boasts an under-beach dance floor, which lends a new meaning to the expression ‘getting down’. If you prefer a starlit seaside sky, head to the upper deck to enjoy a breezy special chill zone where you can still look down through oval glass floor skylights and glimpse at the revelry below.

When there isn’t a party on schedule you can enjoy flowing chill-out music that overlaps with the crashing waves and open views of Seminyak Beach. The weekly highlights at WooBar can be roughly summed up as follows. A mix of DJs spin their discs for the dance floor on Fridays while happy hours feature various bonuses such as two-for-ones and complimentary tapas Monday through Thursday. In line with W’s quirky naming, they’ve come up with exciting events, such as ‘WooBar: Reveal’ for Thursday nights when ladies get free cocktails, and Saturdays’ ‘WooBar: Lollipop’ that tends to extend further into the wee hours. ‘WooBar: Haus’ features house music, and ‘WooBar: Sunset Sessions’ has live beats from 16:00-22:00 on Fridays.
