Location
Situated in the picturesque area of Canggu, guests are only a 45 minute trip from the Ngurah Rai international airport and within a short distance to the world famous Echo Beach.

Easily accessible to the Canggu Club, Villa Merayu enjoys a prestigious membership of the club and offers guests temporary membership where they may enjoy the many facilities. Facilities such as restaurant and bar, state of the art gym, swimming pool and other sports amenities such as tennis and squash courts are available for guests.

Dining and Living area
This open area, like the others in the complex is beautifully decorated. Reddish sofas with green cushions and a wooden coffee table grace the living area. In one corner is a bookcase with decorative pieces and on the opposite side, shelfing that displays both Indonesian and Balinese artefacts. Behind one sofa is a wooden console with a painting. The living room overlooks the pool and tropical garden. This homely space is decorated with numerous artworks that the owners personally go searching for with the aim of uniqueness and individuality for each villa.

Between the dining and living areas, towards the front are a couple of bright green, bean bag chairs with small table to sink into and enjoy reading or watching the action in the pool.

The dining area flows from the living area forming one large space. Facing the dining table, on the wall is a clock made from six old records adding a retro feel to the place. Eight white rattan chairs surround a wooden, glass top table. Different coloured cushions on the chairs additional colour to the dining area.

On the floor beside the dining area is a wooden rocking toucan with a bright, gold beak and another clock in a perspex case to add to the homely feel of the villa.

Kitchen
The kitchen is divided into two areas, wet and dry. The dry is a large and beautifully designed space, meeting the needs of all guests and perfect to use for entertaining. Black marble counter tops and wooden cabinets with glass inserts form a U shape within the kitchen area. All the modern conveniences are at ones fingertips with hot plates, oven, fridge, pots and pans, kettle, toaster, cutlery, crockery and much more. Overlooking the dining room and the pool area it would be a pleasure to cook in this space or have someone else do it for you. The wet kitchen is an offshoot of the dry, but smaller, so that dishes and other things do not need to be displayed. A tall counter, topped with marble divides the dining and kitchen space and has some decorative items and a fruit bowl perched on top.

Bedrooms & Bathrooms
There are four comfortable air-conditioned bedrooms in Villa Merayu. Two are located downstairs and two upstairs and each bedroom is decorated differently.

Bedroom one has a large, king-sized wooden four-poster bed with mosquito netting draped around. Beside the bed are bedside tables and lamps perched above to make it easy to read by at night. A TV and DVD player as well as a small settee with cushions is situated beside the bed.

The bathroom is big and luxurious. Double basins sit on a wooden cabinet and mirrors on the wall reflect the outdoor garden. A bathtub to soak in, a glass enclosed indoor shower as well as an outdoor shower can be enjoyed by guests while taking in the tropical garden atmosphere. The toilet is tucked beside a wall to give a little privacy and a large wardrobe is situated between the bedroom and bathroom for guests to hang or lay all their clothes out.

Bedroom two is next door to bedroom one and is housed in a large space as well. The king sized bed sits in a wooden frame and crisp, white linen graces the top. Paintings on the wall showcase the culture of Bali and opposite the bed is a TV cabinet with television and DVD player.

The large bathroom and wardrobe are a mirror image of bathroom one. One can spend substantial time, just lazing in this bathroom enjoying the open feel and tropical garden.

As one climbs the stairs to bedrooms three and four, the owners have not forgotten to add decoration to this usually sterile area. Travelling up or down the stairs, on a small shelf jutting from a wall, a series of wooden carved Balinese people sit watching you. A small balcony and walkway to the bedrooms overlooks the pool and surrounding area.

Bedroom three is decked out with two single beds with pale pink bedding. Bedside tables with lamps, a small carved hand chair, a writing desk and bench and bookshelf are all located in this well proportioned room. The bathroom is housed in a large area and has a mirror that runs the length of the bathroom cabinet. A single basin sits on the wooden cabinet and a large, glass door shower and wall separate the toilet area, adding a little privacy.

The remaining fourth bedroom has a wooden king sized bed with mauve linen and a small, decorative mosquito net crowns the top of the bed head. The mauve colour is transferred to the artwork that graces the wall of this room and below it, a wooden chest with miniature wooden dolls perched above add a cultural element to the room. A large sized wardrobe is available to meet all requirements of guests residing in this room.

The bathroom once more is large with an enclosed glass shower, toilet, single basin with mirror above and similar to bedroom three.

Swimming Pool
The pool with its turquoise waters stretches from one end of the garden to the other. Rectangular in shape it is great for doing laps. Two sun beds with an umbrella are positioned at one end for guests to relax on and opposite are the bedrooms. A small tropical garden and a little grassed area surround the two remaining sides of the pool and the view can be enjoyed from the kitchen, living and dining rooms.
